CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

has to be both dave..getting rid of one will only cause more agro when we have another setback on the pitch or off the pitch.

Sick of the pair of them, tbh. We need a fresh start. There's no way forward to anything greater than 6th or 7th with these two.

Watershed moment today as far as I'm concerned.

If Moyes signs up after the last transfer window when he was basically shafted and after the wheels have fallen off this season then you'll know the cut of the man.

My respect for Moyes has been chipped away over the past 4 years or so. He'd lose any scrap of dignity if he renews a contract with us, I dont care how much he gets here. It must be a slim minority who has the stomach for the Moyes/Kenwright Everton to continue.

It cant. I'm now convinced of that. Something has to give this summer. Either one or both have to go, and go quickly.

I think he has done well over 10 years to steady the ship but when we have played with style or panache it has been in spite of him not because of him United play attacking football he wouldn't last 6 months there. That leaves Chelsea how long would he last there? I think he's just holding out for a bumper contract which I hope he doesn't get.

If the manager won't commit to the club off the pitch, why should the players commit for the club on the pitch?

It's that simple.

Nice line mate...and I think that (or words and sentiments like it) will be heard a lot in the next few days.

Tell me again how all this contract prevarication isn't and won't effect the players or performances .

Not demanding he resigns but I've left that ground furious to be honest and any blue has every right to feel like that , this has and is impacting On both the team and the club as a whole . Oh and by the way I presume Chelsea, united and city are preparing their contract offers as we speak .

He done similar five years ago mate and we started a season twice. For someone who's meant to "get" Everton, he's took the piss out of us a few times and I include the 3-0 game away to the sh*te last season too.

He said himself that Evertonians may get sick on him one day, I think that day might be upon us.

.

Completely untrue. You really haven't got a clue how Everton works do you? Once the budget was agreed it was 100% down to Moyes. He has the final call on all football matters at the club. The very idea that someone like Elstone would trump him is laughable.

The only time you see us taking the game and forcing the issue in a match under Moyes is when there's been nothing at stake. We are a reactive team under pressure/expectation. I think Martinez did a job on Moyes today and just took the game by the scruff of the neck...and I bet he couldn't believe our CM pairing!! Kin ell, he must have been phoning his tailor for his Wembley suit an hour before the game.

Not very much cash...cant take a flier on a risk due to insurance purposes...all down to zero investment.

Sorry, I'm 100% right and you're 100% wrong.

@philmcnulty: Moyes said selection of Phil Neville ahead of Darron Gibson was purely that - nothing to do with Gibson's ongoing thigh problem.

I don't want this man in charge of Everton anymore.

No as much as I respect you sometimes you're deliberately trying to ignore the facts here.

There was A budget in January. Whatever it was entailed a combination of cash now and future downpayments.

Moyes knew that inside out. Fer was apparently his first target. Once that bombed it was down to Moyes to have a Plan B.

is,nt time to just accept that you can,t keep running a club on the never never without it all hitting the buffers at some point.

Dave is right, today is a watershed moment for everyone connected with the club....it does no good to firewall individuals who have been part of the problem for the last 13 years,

I know they live in a different world but can you imagine your company/boss offering you a massive amount of money for let's face it a very good job within your industry and you say, cheers I will see and get back to you in 6 months... Not the worlds biggest BK fan but I would be inclined to say this evening; Sorry David but your reluctance has had a derogatory affect on production and unfortunately the offer no longer stands so let's all move on in the interests of our company...
