CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Sorry, but that's a load of rubbish.

We were one game away from Wembley, that should have been ample motivation for every single player on the pitch today. We did the business against Reading the week before in a much less important game. Moyes' contract issue certainly doesn't help and picking Neville was a disaster, but not a single outfield player had a noteworthy performance today.

I actually think you could argue Mucha was our best player. Funny eh.

Yes the players should have been motivated, I am not absolving them from blame. But Moyes Contract, coupled with an inexcusable selection of Neville, his refusal to attempt to give players like Duffy, Barkley, Oviedo more of a run or in the case of Barkley and Duffy a run at all is ridiculous. It absolutely affects a team. I would think that at that level the difference between being more up for a game than your opponent is very slim. The little things make a big difference and to think there is not a thought in the back of the minds of players that their boss is not going to be there has no impact on that desire is naive. I would think the tendency is to start playing for yourself not for your team. We may disagree but that is how I feel. However I hope we both agree that Neville should not see the field the rest of the year.

If the manager won't commit to the club off the pitch, why should the players commit for the club on the pitch?

It's that simple.

I posted it earlier in the thread and I'm amazed that ferguson felt it effected his side when he spoke of leaving but moyes and others on here won't have it.

I'd honestly like to know which clubs bigger than us would have Moyes?

Exactly , so what happens if nobody makes an offer , Will he treat us by considering committing ?

I've just watch a manager I don't think is good enough for everton send a team out to humiliate our best squad for years managed by our irreplaceable manager

I've always just sat on the fence and gone with the flow when it comes to the Moyes out argument, but today and our performances for some time now have proved to me that he has to go.

He has taken us as far as he can go and I honestly think he just doesn't know what to do with the team now, we have never had a plan B with Moyes, always just one dimension to our play and if the opposition have a good counter to that, then we're goosed basically. I'm not even sure massive investment in the club could stop the rot now with Moyes remaining in charge.

But on the flip side, I genuinely don't know who would come in and take the club on to the next level.

I know we are currently 6th in the league, but how long are we going to cling on to that spot for. Moyes, and the board have to go for the club to grow.

Rumours going around that he's resigned, not looking too much into it.

if he did, fair play to him...no chance of the fella upstairs falling on his own sword or does he have to invent another award to satisfy himself that the buck does,nt stop at his door as well !

Moyes would get a job in a host of premier league clubs, he could probably get a pay rise as well if the club he goes too is desperate enough.

He won't be out of work.

I doubt he'll enjoy the same job security he had at Everton though and I doubt whether any of the clubs that court him will be bigger than Everton.

I can't see him getting a champions league team at the mo, unless we have a blinding end to the season which doesn't look likely at all.
