A couple of smart saves tonight, hasn't been peppered but second half especially he's definitely been kept on his toes, Germany have probed for most of the half and have always looked a threat.

Made himself big to deny German forward from clean through, though he should have scored. Followed up by tipping over a long range drive from the fullback.

Confident punch through a crowd at the start of the half, collected a couple of long range daisycutters comfortably. Top level concentration needed throughout.

Beaten by two point blank bullet headers, the defence in front of him has done him no favours as they've been all over the place.

Distribution not really tested as England have hardly had the ball. Found his man comfortably with all his short passes, but that's about it. Extra time to come.
