Computer games.

Almost got there but then realised it similar to Warcraft in that it's a time sink that never ends so deleted it.

I quite like WoW. I played it quite actively until the last expansion. Haven't played that one yet but I hear only good things about it.

The previous years I succeeded in playing it casually. Like only a couple of dungeons a day or such; or just 2/3 days a week. I like the thing that WoW doesn't really have an end. You always find something to do and can do stupid stuff like defeating the LK with your mate to get some stupid achievement or such. I find it to be a calming game; the ingame music and such. PVP is also fun. Used to do raids but won't be doing that again since that takes up a lot of time; unless you do it using the finder stuff or such but that's no fun.

Hmm now I want to buy the latest expansion.

Yeah my old guildie I still stay in touch with was raving about it and I'm sitting on enough gold for a free month but I need to resist the urge. Planning on working on my fitness this year and WoW won't allow that even if I'm just doing it as far as raid finder.

Yeah I understand mate.

That's also an important part of it the social aspect; some people on there I've known since almost the release or such. Tbf I think that explains a big part of the success of the game. Even though there are plenty of annoying people on there too.

Are you including a pause in between keystrokes? If you don't include a pause it executes all of them at once, which doesn't work. I have found a 0.1-0.2 second pause in between each keystroke works fine.

I don't actually know what I'm doing, I bought a voice pack and thought it was already set up for elite. Going to have to look into it.

Haha, the voicepack is just a series of voice files. You have to configure Voiceattack. As in:

Thats my command to, as you can see, leg it.

Resets power, then puts all power to SYS then all power to ENG, leaving me with 2 SYS, 4 ENG, 0 WEP

Getting stuck into Cities Skylines again, and just realised there is a free official football (actual association football, not american crap) DLC. Haven't got to properly try it out yet but it seems you regularly get match days with higher traffic but you profit from ticket sales. I think you can help the local team grow to some extent, but not sure yet. Not bad for a free DLC.

Also have spent an ungodly amount of time playing through all the Fire Emblem Fates paths on 3DS thanks to some amazon vouchers I got for christmas. Good tactics game, that. Very little RNG if that is what puts you off games like XCOM.

Came across someone playing this on YouTube on Friday so picked it up over the weekend: http://store.steampowered.com/app/347940/

Fun little top down survival/crafting game. Only ~£5. In Early Access atm, but quite well fleshed out already.

Folks online are saying 'treat it like a 2d Minecraft'

Might be worth you checking out Rimworld. Simple looking colony simulator that is incredibly complex if you want it to be @Tubey can attest to that, iirc.

I'm actually increasingly coming to the conclusion that Rimworld is the best game I've ever played. It's in the top five for sure.

It's so good that it makes me grumble at games that don't have emergent storytelling as a feature.
