Computer games.

Playing on PC. Think its horizons not to sure. I'll check tomorrow. If its a dlc then prob no.

Happy now I can land. Wish could have my own music on some of them long flights. But hopefully I'll get into it.

Commander Blue Jester .
Uhmm.....set the IGM to mute, and put on your own music.

Although, the sounds design in this game is magnificent!

@Blue Cheese, what is your in game name? IF I ever catch you online (which would be more likely the weekend due to time zones and all) I can throw you a few tons of palladium or something to give you a boost. Or just form a wing and go shoot some stuff.

Lads, help me out here - is anyone familiar with the nintendo 3DS consoles? Have a Christmas present request from our lad - the new 3DS ones seem thin on the ground, whereas the 3DSXL ones are readily available. But most reviews are rating the smaller one as the better console?

He's 8yo so quite young - I'm sure he'd be over the moon with either, but just worried that the XL might be more for older kids so the controls may be a bit awkward for small hands?
Thanks for any advice.

I own a standard 3DS. My cousin, who's 9 (or 10 don't know exactly) has the new 3DS XL model. She has small hands, she is happy with it. I prefer the smaller one though because it has better portability. After all it's a handheld. I mainly use it on trains and such.

Doesn't make a big difference; just choose the one you can get your hands on.

Probably doesn't matter, the 2DS is kind of bulky though I just wouldn't buy that. Buy a 3DS and maybe a Yokai Watch game and he's set.

Blue Jester is my pilot name. A homage to Top Gun.

BTW I only have Dangerous so far, If I stick at it I will get the rest soon enough.

Will add you when I am on.
Just been blasted out of the sky for the first time and didn't have him in my sights once...Dogfighter of the Year.
A player or an AI?

Back in the day, an AI was easy pickings, but now they use engineer weapons, boost, drop heat sinks, drop chaff and fight in accordance with their Pilots Federation ranking.

So an Elite pilot in an Eagle will be very difficult to kill now, versus getting melted in two seconds back in the day.

Just bought my first ship, cargo ship and fit some weapons. I'm still learning there is a lot to digest.
