Needless to say, I watched both and agree with the dude wholeheartedly.

The problem with microtransactions in full price games is not whether they are screaming in your face to buy them, it's that they are there in the first place. It's a kind of unnecessary psychological cash grab.

Jim is fantastic and I agree with him completely - I no longer buy AAA games that have them in, including Deus Ex, which to be honest I boycotted due to their pre-order scheme.

Pro Evo 2017 is brilliant, much better - it's unlike pro Evo of old. It's like what FIFA wants to be.

Stuffed micro transactions into a full price game which, when used, can't be used again when re-playing the game.

They also did an "Augment Your Pre-Order" scheme where they'd unlock rewards once they'd received a certain amount of pre-orders.

Ahh ok. Bit crap that.

Personally waiting for the game to be cheaper sadly. Can't justify the 45 for it now when I will probably spend 40 on fifa next month (unless pro is amazing)

Was my first play through in this after I picked it up on steam sale but I will be upping the difficulty because that was disappointing after hours.

Only messing lad, havent played it much myself, its all about the spawn point, man them AIs are nasty if you get in their way.

Haven't played footie games for several years, but I've always been a PES guy, could never get into FIFA. I've played the free demo of PES 17 on PS3 and it is very good - smooth, fluid, quick but without losing the 'simulation' vibe.

Has the online play improved at all in recent years?
