Computer games.

I'd recommend Inside, especially if it's on sale on Steam.

It's a puzzle side scroller that is really quite beautiful with a weird, ambiguous, thought provoking storyline.

I've also just finished replaying Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars. It has cracking single player campaigns which view the core plot from different angles. Lots of fun with very different unit rosters for each faction.
 
Only messing lad, havent played it much myself, its all about the spawn point, man them AIs are nasty if you get in their way.

Lol nah it was a fair point mert. I bought it a few months ago and settled into a game but it was far too easy and I discovered that you can't get the science victory if you achieve any of the others definitely putting the difficulty up for the next one.

The problem is when you go up a bit higher they are really aggressive and if you dont get a good start your looking at a hellish early and a long arse game, but hey, we dont play it cos its a short game.

I'm going to have to now that I got that first one out of the way because I feel cheated for the hours I sank into that only to get a measly cultural victory when I could have destroyed them all or won the space race just as easy. The city states were an interesting addition in v
