Yeah, but not when the computer is shut down. That is the thing. Even way back in the days of Xbox 360 it would download updates and stuff while it was powered down.

970 is a very nice card.

Very true...that was kind of what I was going for, tbh I have always been a console gamer until after the Ps4 was released. I use me tv to play on, on my sony set 30 fps looks orrible, the games appear to jerk everywhere. Built a good middle range pc and now able to play the same games but at 60 fps..its worlds apart. Plus steam and origin have far more to choose from. Glad I made the jump

Even though I used to love Europa Universalism I didn't even know about CK2, will be getting that in a few hours when I get home. Not sure I'll splash out the 170 dollars for the complete with all expansions though...

There must be a steam sale on soon where you can pick up all the main bits cheap! I don't even have all the dlc I don't think. Also iirc when you play mp you get to play with whatever the host has.
