cocaine

See, those advocating e's over coke has always baffled me. I see it as a much more risky drug to take. How often do you hear about people dying from a bad line?

It depends.

MDMA (the 'ecstacy') chemical compound itself is pretty safe and much safer than cocaine. I took MDMA nearly every weekend for a few years and never had a time I felt in danger, health wise.

The problem with ecstacy pills tend to have more than one drug in, which can be fine if you know what is in them or aren't too drunk etc. Also when a bad batch go around cut with bad stuff. A pill can also take an hour to work so people take more within that hour.

Coke is much worse for your body and plenty to die from too much coke but because it's fair quick to effect your body, people don't tend to take more before feeling the effect on the body. Weak coke tends to get cut with paracetamol or some kind of local anaesthetic which doesn't really harm you.

The only time I genuinely thought I was going to go to hospital or something because of a drug was a legal high and MCat. Awful stuff, legal highs.

Yeh all about the stuff you're buying really and whether you trust it. Anyone buying anything from a festival dealer is an idiot IMO.

Only time I thought I was dying, nay dead, was after someone gave me too big of a line of ket on my first and last try. Left arm went numb, could feel my heart pounding out of my chest, had to just lay on my bed in pure darkness, stuck Burial on repeat and rode it out till morning.

We used to just buy an MD rock the size of a golf ball for our house lol

If it can take down a horse, it can certainly take down a weedy teenager.

Just to tie all this up together

I found out a few months ago that one of my oldest friends back in Liverpool had been found dead in his flat a couple of weeks after being released from residential care for mental health. He was always a guy who struggled with his mental health, never had addiction problems but would always take whatever people would give him and in the end the combination of depression and a lot of different substances just tore him down, lost his job, which was the most important thing in his life and ended up in that place.

No support after he left and he had all sorts in his flat and his system when they found him.

Sad story, affects a lot of people, I can't quite remember what the purpose of this thread was to begin with in all fairness. I don't take anything anymore myself but I'm not totally against it and will never judge others either.

From experience of others when I was growing up, very few people seem to be able to " take it or leave it " as the high is so seductive.

There hardly seems to be any young smack heads coming through anymore. The ones that are left are all fifty plus skeletons, with Tamazee legs and no teeth !
But but Jose Baxter lol
