Club finances

In the last 10 seasons Everton have pulled in £1.2 billion in revenues.

...and have thrown it down the toilet for the most part.

Led off the pitch by a shower of trumpets and carpetbaggers. They have squandered this club's potential.

never change Dave , never change
Factual statement. People should register the fact that the club has clawed in £1.2 billion quid in the last decade alone (mostly from tv revenue and player sales) and the club are still struggling to put a spade in the ground on a new stadium.

An utter shambles of a club. Off field we have been led by a succession of donkeys and con men.

Never mind worrying about me not changing. It's a pity THAT never changes.

Yes we can buy whoever we want.

Getting them to come is another matter.

Eh, no.

People shouldnt look at these accounts and think they are great by any means.

We are not brewstered either, we are operating in limits.

Loss is bigger next year/this year as the crow flies.

To be fair, the money spent isnt the issue. Remove martinez, koeman and gravy tits from the equation and that money could have us in spurs territory. Not an excuse for moshiri as he employed those clowns, but I'd rather us be in a position of talking about squandered money rather than how well we spent the pennies we had in the past.

New owner
Give him a chance Dave

We are beyond rich.

We aren’t, the buisness has been through the mill, we blew the boom pretty much sold Lukaku, Stones, Barkley, blew that on managers compensations, poorish value recruitment, handed them all huge contracts and blew the wage bill to pieces, while blowing Moses investment of 100 mill. To be pretty much in the stay position as we started in term of football placement, in fact we got worse.

Moshiri has invested a lot of Moneybut that won’t be infinite certainly not on the footballing side and all it has done is see us post a 15 mill loss. We are lucky to have an owner who can do it, but maybe a better owner wouldn’t have to, clearly much of his decision making has been flawed. We’ve blown the boom, but at least he’s tried to rectify that.

Anyhow we aren’t out of the woods yet, unless we work a miracle in Jan we are posting a bigger loss next year. Time for a Brands to shine.

But we are far from throwing any weight around financially, we will be relying on player trading.

If we spend anything like what we have over the last few years in the next 9 months and put in planning permission for the new stadium, then I think it will be pretty clear to everyone that Usmanov is behind the scenes pulling the strings. Someone who is only supposed to be worth a couple of billion dollars does not blow a fifth of that on a developing football club.

Hiring a PE teacher will do that to you.

We have bought everybody we wanted.

You want it to be 1 way, but its the other way.

Sure we have wasted a shed load of money, but so have most clubs in the league. We have loads of players we can sell, we have massive revenues, we have Marcel Brands, sit back and wait for The Mosh to make it rain.
