Not really they were fighting for their jobs plus the police in force stopped the flying pickets so disruption was at a minimum hospitals were never closed = this is about the scientist theory which our government is well ahead of ......on climate change.... big difference - you can't beat a bag of nutty slack...... :D
Burning jet fuel releases greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide into Earth's atmosphere and oceans. Greenhouse gases block heat from escaping from the atmosphere, causing temperatures to rise just like in a greenhouse.
why are they not demonstrating there?
Demonstrating where, in the atmosphere? Is'nutty slack' a street term for crack-cocaine you nawty boy? Explains a few things...

Ever heard of an airport where those planes take holiday makers everywhere daily?.....FGS

As I've said, I'm not a fan of generally making a nuisance of yourself, but it's my understanding that they're doing it at Westminster because that's where the decision makers are. I dare say as airports are private property, they would also be hoiked off fairly sharpish.

I've no idea Joe. As I said earlier, I'm no fan of many environmentalists, or their method of getting their point across, but you seem to have adopted this sad habit of believing means are right or wrong based purely on whether you support the ends.
Stop sitting on the fence Bruce first you defend them, have a go at me is because I am stubborn or correct?
I support any peaceful organised demonstrations even the Remain one this summer which was organised and went off very well.....

Actually my late father in law was on strike then after a promotion took flasks of tea for the local pickets at Sutton Manor pit now closed with a monument they opened a brand new face of coal with investment from the government then closed it......
So do not class me as right wing - my father was a col miner at Cronton Colliery too - again why are they allowed too block roads bridges off by a hospital?
I worked from the age of 16 to ill health over 38 years never claiming dole as I considered myself fortunate.....I was a pro trade unionist.....

Now you are a scab to the trade unions and its movement.

I think the protest will be largely futile, but I also don't believe it will disrupt Tommy's a great deal either. It's not one of the four trauma hospitals in London so it wouldn't be getting the most urgent cases anyway.

Ok, you were not a scab in your working life.

You just became one in your retirement.
Still a member of a trade union lifelong member - I stood on picket lines and continue using my union facilities in ill health legal advice etc... so I reiterate I am no right winger ..... never voted for the other lot in my life......

Nope. Because Thatcher had paid the daft buggers to create a stockpile before the strike.
Haha. Surely power was rationed in the Seventies like, i know that Hospital grids were excluded, but can vaguely remember power being cut for hourly periods?

Nope. Because Thatcher had paid the daft buggers to create a stockpile before the strike.

That is correct. They didnt even know it was being done neither. In fact, other than the few instructed to stockpile, no one did for ages.

Source. Bloke who did it.
