Transfer Rumour Christian Benteke

Benteke is a Target man he's not going to be running around like a headless chicken, he will stay central and be used as a target.

I think it will cost between 38/45 to get him.

We are not in any position to take risks, we need guaranteed goals and that's what he gives, Giroud would have been nice but I think he's the kind of guy who will like to stay in the capital by his favourite hair salon.

Do they need the cash, thought they've recently been bought out so don't need money, plus they paid 32mil for him. Could see them wanting 40+ mil
They couldn't stump up the cash for sacko due to blowing there wedge on benteke last summer. Clubs like palace are restricted due to limited income v spend (sound familiar) not heard of any takeover mind. Reckon 30 million would tempt them, only reason they afforded benteke was down to the dosh we gave them for bolasie. Big Sam hinted at tight funds just before he jumped ship.

I'm sure they will raise the price bar high, however once the reality of a fat juicy wedge come's slapping them on there face that price will reduce, same will happen to Swansea and other such clubs in limited positions.

Not for me. Lazier, more limited, less goals version of Lukaku. Does well when playing for a bad team, can't see him performing for a team competing towards the top. Go for Dembele, younger with more raw talent and can grow with the rest of the youth we've bought.

He's nothing like Rom at all

Impact sub? He'd cost us about 40 mil

40 million is yesterdays 20 million, quite literally after Swansea's valuation inflated everything in the market. We sold Rom a week too soon... :(

As for Tekers he would be alright, rather have Giroud but you can't always get what you want. Would be funny as if we buy him and 1) he scores more than Lukaku 2) we finish above utd and 3) Benteke takes Lukaku's place at the world cup. :D I think I may even break out a little Pogba dance if all that happens.
