He likes a Pelle type. We knew after season one he'd revert to his football he played elsewhere and he kicked off here with: ball out wide and long and plenty of balls into the box. That will defo be Plan A or a very quick shift to a Plan B if working the ball short is getting nowhere.

That's Koeman's in game "flexibility".

How can laugh wholeheartedly at the RS for lashing out £32M on this waste of a shirt, when we would be paying more than that to sign him ourselves.

Spot on. I can remember laughing at my RS mates who told me that summer that Benteke would outscore Lukaku. If you sign him you have to play completely to his strengths, as he proved he's only capable of playing one way. We might as well see if we can get Big Sam out of retirement if long ball football is the way we want to play. What happened to having multiple players who can score 10+ goals in a fluid attack?

That would be another worry of mine, if Swansea want £50million for Sigurdsson, Palace would probably want £50million+ which would be far too much.

£30 - 35 million tops plus palace need the cash by all accounts.. like him personally, I don't think he ever felt settled at the RS and they didn't really play to his strengths. Got goal scoring pedigree and probably the best header of a ball around in my humble opinion.
