Heitinga has just tweeted saying that he will miss tonight's game due to 'a small injury.'

A lot are saying he's off to Ajax which is quite believable but still, there's absolutely no need for the abuse he gets on there.

you cannot deny that we put in better performances against the chelsea's, spurs, arsenals, and mancs of the league than against the readings, stokes or wigans that is not even debatable this season surely?

This season perhaps but a few years back the poor record against the top sides was a consistent talking point for certain people. Since people seem to be under the impression that the other top four sides never drop points to mid/low table sides it's somehow seen as more important to get those three points than others -- meanwhile if we beat 15 teams every time and lost to the top four every time we'd be on 90 points.

Anyway I'm looking forward to this one ... nice to go into a game every once in a while expecting to win (well at least I am). Baxter might even play so how could we lose?

Must say I agree. He has had a bit of a wobble this season but I think that's down to him not playing as regulary. It's good that there's competition among the CB's though. Duffy isn't too bad either

It's Everton, we dont do anything Easy and we certainly dont tend to go away and score for fun.
