This is really the key. Knew the squad had dead weight, lack of skill and too old. However, very little attempt was made to fix it. Spent more time getting a manager and director of football than fixing the product on the field.

How come every time the RS go to the top grounds they try to attack and win the game yet we always camp in our own half to try and avoid defeat and nearly always fail dismally? Is it "small club" mentality?

The RS have the correct mentality when going into games. They aren't easily intimidated by their opposition. Everton, however, have too many softies and a wimpy captain.
