No win at Stamford Bridge since 94, no win at the Highbury/Emirates since 96, no win at Anfield since 99 and 1 win since 92 at Old Trafford. Some record that. Even accounting for poor mentality/inferior players you´d have thought we could have fluked a few more wins yet here we are.

Very difficult to play against teams who are motivated by relegation/European football when you´re basically just seeing your games out. I wouldn´t read much into the next couple of months. We were really good under Silva in this phase of last season and that didn´t matter for much come August.

This just feels like it has the potential to be a watershed moment for us. We've played well recently and not been rewarded. This is no doubt a tough game, but we've got some things going in our favor. If we can come out and just get the job done it could really push us on to a strong end of season and an optimistic look toward next year. We won't get a better chance than this to show we can do it in these types of matches.
