Looks like they are bidding for him for the bench and because AOC knocked them back.
They are even buying Danny Drinkwater for central midfield, so where this clown fits into their system is a complete mystery. It reeks of getting the English quota up ala City and Fabian Delph.

If Chelsea were willing to offer 35m for the Ox (in the last year of his contract like Ross) that's the minimum they should be offering for Barkley, who in my eyes is the better player anyway.

Be a travesty if he went there and just sat on the bench. So much raw talent he needs give his head a wobble and realise he needs to be playing footy
You have to hope he's got mail re-directed to his new London apartment so his jaw can get forwarded on when it gets found.

Don't let's be too unreasonable. He's a bad egg and must go, whether we get anyone in return or not. Plus he's injured till December reportedly.
Big fan of Ross Barkley but let's be honest he's getting nowhere near the Chelsea midfield, 
...Spurs fans forum suggesting no bid has been made by Chelsea and this is a ruse to get Tottenham to pay more than they are prepared to.
