Correct this Mike. Great shout.
If you're seriously laughing at someone for preferring a smaller club who are less likely to challenge us then fair enough but dont act like we are some superior club who are guaranteed to finish 20 points ahead of these clubs as Wolves shown that to be false this season.
Happy to see Villa back in the Premiership personally. As for them being a threat to us and we're in danger of being overtaken. If that happens it's only ourselves to be blamed for it. Personally I'm not that bothered about that threat. Last summer and the results in the last few months suggest to me that we're on the right way.
Must’ve forgot Leicester winning the league three years ago.Man City had one of the most dominant teams in British football history on their literal doorstep and they still got bought and have since completely surpassed that same club.
Who cares if Villa are surrounded by crap clubs? The Midlands hasn't been a remotely successful region at football for donkeys years.
A part of the reason we’ve become so crap as well, is that there’s been no one at our level keeping us on our toes. The Moyes days with us, Villa and Spurs battling it out were actually exciting, and games between those teams felt like little mini derbies within a season. Beating Villa used to be ace.
We’ve become too complacent assuming we’re going to be the best of the rest every season without even needing to improve. The competition can only be good for us imo and will give us the kick up the arse we need to improve.
Not as much as Randy Lerner !Bet Yannick Bolaise, is feeling a bit regretful right about now.

That’s why I’m glad they’re back. Adds another fixture with a bit of an edge for us rather than an absolute nothing burger of a team like Huddersfield.
