We may finish 5th but if we do I'm not going to say anything, but if we don't finish 4th people like you will be pleased so that you can tell me you was right and I was wrong.
I am saying that it is possible that we can finish 4th, it's not an impossible task. It's difficult, but it's not impossible.
So when the [Poor language removed] are talking about winning the league and european trophies, I am going to be talking about going for 4th spot. I'm going to be positive, because if your going to be negative it's not healthy for you or those around you.
But the thing is it's not just that we reached fourth place five years ago.
It's that we were in prime position to do it again two years ago before throwing it away.
Its that we were nine points off it last year despite an awful start.
I understand if you think we won't get fourth, I don't think we will either.
But the idea that its not a possibiltiy, that we're deluded to think that there's a chance?

I havent said there isnt a chance, I just said I dont think we can do it with the current squad. Moyes agrees with me to be honest, take it up with him.

I stated a fact, the fact being we finished 4th. Doesn't matter if it was last year or 4 years ago, we still did it against all the odds.

Azzbot, we're not saying we WILL be 4th this season - only that it is a possible goal - or why support you're team?
I know you should be realistic (and god knows Evertonians are realists- and usually miserable), so that you're not disapponited every season (look at newcastle)
- but you need to have some belief that you're team will achieve something brilliant - A cup, or a CL place, for example - I just believe that it is more likely to happen than you -

Ok, we did finish 4th, but you then claimed that we would finish 4th this season. So you clearly cant be right, cos this season hasnt finished.

Well can you not see where I am coming from? All I am saying is that it is possible, and we have proven that. Regardless if it happened 4 years ago or not.
We did it through great team spirit, and as far as I am aware we still have that and we have better players. Plus Arsenal are weaker than last year and I'm not convinced the rest are as likely to get 4th as we are. Despite what SSN want.

The saddest thing for me though is that our young fans are negative before they have ever suffered [Poor language removed].
Cal and this Azz lad. Both are young and weren't even born the last time we were boss, and this is the best we've been since them times. They don't know what being [Poor language removed] is all about. The 90's were awful.
