One thing is for certain, if we beat Arsenal today we will win the league.

If we get smashed we will be relegated.

You have to laugh at the ultra optimisim the week of the FA cup final we were simply ace and any negativity would have been shot down, cue two months later with the same team and its armehgedon and we're screwed - its not really realistic is it!

The mood on the forum is directly linked to Everton open or close season , traditionaly this is always a time for frustration which when the season starts is never justified. Those of us who have been through a few transfer windows on here have learned from the expierence and how it has transfered on to the pitch which has always been positive despite the world and its mother "strengthening".

There was always varied opinion on the forum as far as i remember maybe not always as dark as has become recently but i enjoy a lot of those posts as they make me think personaly. There is a difference though criticism often in the past here was construtive, well thought out and genuine and less polerised. In was made after deliberation in response, rather then just reaction which added to the over all quality of the forum.

The quality is still high for me, but people have become a little more reactionary (especialy this time of year) and either polerised in terms of positivity or negativity (one camp or the other) and perceive others on the forum as such.

Does it really matter, we will all be shouting our heads of come 5:30 today.

Basically, come on you Blues!

Every single fan is entitled to an opinion on the club they support, Negative or Positive. Us fans run Football Clubs, without us fans there would no longer be Football at a professional level at least hence why we have every right to express our beliefs.

Positive or Negative facts are facts.

I'm not stupid and I know when someone is jumping on bandwagons and booting themselves in the face with their own foot.

Moyes, you'd say he knows his stuff?

He said: "Arsenal are not a weak link (in the top four), they have fantastic players. There will be a challenge from Aston Villa, City and Spurs. They are all rightly getting mentioned to be right up there.
"It may not be Arsenal who do not stay in the top four, it can be any one of a number of clubs there.
"It will be harder to finish fifth again, that's obvious. But I felt it would be harder last season with the likes of Spurs and Newcastle spending.
"But we proved that with a stable club we can achieve success, rather than with just the money.
"There have not been many changes here, it is the same players, so why should we not feel we can finish fifth or better again?"

Oh if we lose it will all:

"It's a disgrace"
"Gone as far as we can"
"Moyes out"
"blah ******* blah"

I actually hope those who are negative get warm beer, cold pies and lose badly at the bookies, just to compound their misery as that is there comfort zone.
