At least Arsenal have won some stuff.Arsenal and Spurs hilarious in all this. Who do they think they are lol
We can almost certainly kiss BMD goodbye, for one thing. My only concern is the effect this will have on our own investment. Apart from that I would be made up if the 'big six' and all their ilk buggered off.
1960-1961
Think this is a good time to remind ourselves Spurs haven’t been champions for SIXTY YEARS, Arsenal are literally a midtable side.
Great opportunity in my opinion. Our stadium would be one of the best in the league, and we can attract better players who want to play for their country. My only concern is the effect this will have on our own investment. So last won the league over 60 years ago makes you elite? Get out.1960-1961
Big Red supporters staying painfully quiet..,
My money says they turn on Dem Yanks
From the perspective of an American owner this makes sense. No relegation, no need to play "small" clubs. Travelling 1000s of miles to play isn't unusual in American sports. However, very disappointing from Spurs and Chelsea, as I thought their owners understood football.
No chance at all Bayern and PSG say no.
Bayern fans trying to justify it will be fun to do. Booing other clubs for ruining things while they upend the whole system. Tits.
Unfortunately money talks. I hate this idea but it is probably inevitable. If those 6 clubs were kicked out of the PL how much do you think BT and Sky would pay for TV rights? 20% of the current deal? Overseas 'fans' want to watch Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal and to a lesser degree, Chelsea, City and Spurs.
Overseas subscriptions/TV rights are where the money is and those 6 clubs are well aware of it. The wages of players in what was left of the PL would take a massive nosedive.
The beginning of the end.

If it goes ahead, next it will be about playing games in usa etcTrue. But this is about money. And Spurs make money. And generate money. There is a lot of naiveté about this plan in this thread. To repeat, I am against it compl. But I haven't got my head in the sand. Football has been about money since 1992 and the start of the CL. This idea is merely the culmination of the path football is on.

That was a good year, apparently. I wasnt born for another 5 years.
Been in Div 2 since then havnt you, and we have won the league more than once since. If Spurs fans go support this, well, get in the bin.
