One of my mates thinks it's a great idea. Guess who he supports......
Who the F are Spurs? No-one.Spurs are currently enjoying the second best period in the clubs history
and they have won zero!
Arsenal at least have recent(ish) titles and seem to do well in FA cup most years
I’m gonna bet that he doesn’t actually go to matches or potentially has never been to one ever.
I’m not sure that’s been decided. They wont have a choice
6 Premier League Teams to form a breakaway European Super League.
Kick the feckers out of the PL and English football altogether then.
Uefa should just carry the CL on without those teams. The trophy would still carry the same prestige and if the big teams tried to invalidate it they’d only invalidate their own history. Real Madrid would never want to reach a point where their 13 european cups were invalidated by a new comp. As soon as some of Europe’s other teams started winning the European cup and calling themselves champions of Europe they’d all come running back.
I've said this to my mate here for years. It's such a crap club. They've not even had a sniff of the league in 20 years and are probably going to finish 9th. But, yep, DEFINITELY deserve to be in a "super league" because....
No chance at all Bayern and PSG say no.A European Super League with only English, Spanish and Italian teams...
Jog on!
From the perspective of an American owner this makes sense. No relegation, no need to play "small" clubs. Travelling 1000s of miles to play isn't unusual in American sports. However, very disappointing from Spurs and Chelsea, as I thought their owners understood football.
