Defences on top in this game and our plummet to the 3rd tier of Scottish football draws closer. Goals from our 2 overpaid and overweight strikers Vine and O'Connor and one from full-back Fitzpatrick couldn't hide the fact that we are indeed doomed.

Cowdenbeath 3-0 Morton

Completely toothless display against one of the part-time in the league and Rowan Vine sent off for dissent just about sums up this whole season. We can be officially relegated on Saturday, and to be honest, it would be a bit of a relief. Kenny Shiels has been in charge for 14 games and only won 1, with 8 goals scored and 22 against.

Bring on next season.

Thanks Mikey, but unfortunately anything other than a win against Dumbarton on Wednesday will see us relegated and to be honest, we deserve to go down. Won't stop me and my son from going to most of the games and getting right behind the team though.

Another toothless display, predicted 3-0/4-0 pre-match and wasn't disappointed.

Morton 3-0 Dumbarton

One of the best performances of the season thanks to headed goals from Vine and O'Ware and a mazy run from Rangers loanee McKay. Could easily have been 5 or 6, but why have we had to wait until it is virtually impossible to hold on to our Championship status to start playing football.

It certainly could. Rumours last night that Kenny might not even make it to the end of the season if we'd been humped by Dumbarton. He may not want to stay anyway after auld Dougies comments.
