Are you happy that Shiels won't be giving as many interviews? for me that was the one thing I didn't like about him.

Sorry, meant to say, there was a guy in the Cowshed today with a Kilmarnock top on with Fowler on the back. No big deal really, but strange to see that.

A couple folk on the Kilmarnock forum arranged to take in the Morton game as we never had a match yesterday.

However, former Hibs team-mate Garry O'Connor is hopeful that their partnership could be reignited at Morton.

The striker made his debut for the Scottish Championship strugglers on Saturday and has discussed Riordan's position with manager Kenny Shiels.

"It would be fantastic to have Deeks on board, but I'm afraid I can't make that decision," said O'Connor.

"Obviously Kenny has spoken to me about Deeks' situation and, I'm not sure, maybe Kenny will give him a call."

Riordan apparently said he would play for free on BBC Scotland last night (didn't hear it). However, Paul Hartley has had him training with Alloa for the past 8-10 weeks and said he's not fit enough to play with them.
Would definitely take a chance on him 'til the end of the season.

Livingston 0-1 Morton

Great performance and fantastic result, especially with Cowdenbeath losing. The goal came as a result of a superb cross ball from Garry O'Connor to Barry McKay who took a touch and slotted past the Livi keeper.

Nice touch from Kenny Sheils to come over and applaud the 'Ton fans at the end of the game.

Onwards and upwards, I'm going for a few celebratory beers.(y)

Morton 1-1 Q.O.S.

Struggled to score (or even create chances) against a Queens team who were reduced to 9 men with 40 minutes to go, even then we only scored with a few minutes left. In real trouble now and it may be time to look out the bucket and spade for next seasons trips to the seaside league.

Watch out for seagulls in Arbroath.

Falkirk 1-1 Morton

Had to attend a funeral in Stirling today, but still made the game.

Top of the league Falkirk v bottom of the league Morton, home win on everyones' coupon.

Didn't pan out like that, we deserved our point and, we possibly should've won the game, however, we have fallen further behind at the bottom of the league because Cowden won.

Has Rowan Vine joined? in the Daily Rangers Kenny's denied it but everywhere else is reporting he joined.

Yes mate, he's signed until the end of the season. Couldn't play yesterday because he wasn't registered in time, but will be available for our next game on Feb 15th.

Morton 1-1 Cowdenbeath

Really needed a win against the team directly above us, and even though we had plenty of possession, we rarely threatened the Cowden goal. Time and games rapidly running out.

Morton 0-1 Alloa.

This terrible result and performance, combined with Cowdenbeath winning away to Dundee almost certainly guarantees relegation to League 1.

No heart, no fight, no guts.
