Castillo

He looked of the pace in the first half, seemd as if he was strugling with the pace, postional play and what his role was in the team.

I would make allowences for him given his expeirence and involvement up untill this point, and i think he could improve.

In fairness i thought he improved immensely in the second half and had more of an influence on the game. He could be a good un if he wants.

I really like his attitude though, he seems like a good pro.

Not good enough sadly, lacking any real discipline and lacks any positional sense to be our new DM.

We need a new one, preferably one that has Premiership expierence. It would benefit the team and give Mikel more freedom. Mikel covered Castillo so much yesterday.

I've always liked him, he has potential IMO from the games I saw.

Only saw the highlights of the match (and I was hammered last night after I saw the result haha) so I didnt see how Castillo played.

But being that Citeh are a massive threat on the counter and have lots of pace but we stopped em from playing their game, sounded like Castillo did well for his first premier league game for about 3 months.

He's got to have the biggest legs in the League though, you've got to give him that. There like [Poor language removed] tree trunks. He runs like Tommy Gravesen aswell.

Accept for the bad pass he looked fine for not having any first team action in a month or so. I liked our midfield last weekend they totally dominated the game and we should have been at least three ahead away from home. I don't know our problems at home but Castillo isn't that bad and he makes most of his passes count. So for me I would keep the same squad.
I like Rodwell but he will get his time eventually but he is really a centre back.

i've seen the lad do it for equador so i know he can do the job, in fact for them he was all over the place, i reckon it's just a case of settling, he seemed to be settling quicker than fellaini before he got injured and marouane is just 1 game from cult status now, london rich boys beware !!!

The Big Fell - 35th minute header. 1-0 win. Taps nose(y)

I think the lad needs a run of four or five games before hes judged as with Big Mo-Fro he needs the time to settle!

I doubt he'll get a run in the team to be honest, if Anichebe or Saha are fit I think he'll be back on the bench against Chelsea.

Moyes change a winning team? It would be unlike him mate especially against Chelsea he may go for the tough to beat approach and stick Saha on for 20 mins, or prob five knowing Moysie!

As much as id like our favourate frenchman back, the midfeild looked the best balanced this season, especially with Arteta in a freer role supporting Castillo rather then having over all defensive/deep lying responsibilites. While Mo-Fro and Arteta seeming to bring the best out in each other.

The midfeild i have to say looked better with Cahill ot in it, but he wont be dropped after his goal.

I doubt he'll play Cahill as a centre forward again. Tim done a great job up there but we looked toothless at times. We lacked that killer instinct and we didn't a pacy outlet upfront. He did say he hopes he gets his strikers back as soon as possible.

I think we'll go back to Osman, Fellaini, Arteta, Pienaar with Cahill playing off Saha/Anichebe depending on who's fit.

I agree mate, i think hel go like that, not sure if its the best use of the midfeild! Id like to see Cas get a run especially as Chelsea have theplayers who can exploit space in the hole.

*Neiler in a not agreeing with Moyes shocker!
