Boss car that mate, love it.

Cheers, mate. Latest to my stable of classics collected for less than a price of a second hand Mondeo. Bought last June to be my every day car. Never ceases to stop entertaining me with which gremlin is going to strike next (currently no washers) - but being a V8 it tears past modern euroboxes on a hill. Sits alongside a '69 Sebring MG Midget and a '59 Series 2 ex-RAF Land Rover.

which country gets to bail out Germany?

Bought a new car. I've always used wax to protect them but the guy at the dealership mentioned something about a sealant? Any car buffs here prefer one or the other? Been reading online and I get a whole bunch of mixed things, some people even use both. WtF.

Wax is a natural product and sealant is man made in a lab, so therefore the sealant has higher tolerances and is specifically designed to be more resilient. Wax gives a slightly better finished look though so what you do is apply the sealant and then on top as an added layer of protection and a bit more depth of finish add the wax

Thanks! Is it better to have the dealer put the sealant on or is it easy for the everyday person?

Depends if you can be bothered, It's quite easy, all you do is squirt the sealent onto a foam apllicator pad, rub it onto the paint, give it a minute to dry then whipe it off with a micro fibre cloth, then you can add your wax on top

That Tesla....
Autopilot Parking
Model S helps you find a parking spot and automatically parks in it. In the city, it will notify you when it finds a parallel parking spot, then control steering, acceleration and deceleration to back smoothly into it. When approaching a Supercharger station, Model S automatically parks in an open stall. Model S will even park itself in your garage at home.

With calendar syncing enabled, Model S checks current traffic conditions to determine how much time is needed to make your first meeting of the day. At the right time, it turns on the climate control and opens the garage door. On private property, Model S will even pull out of the garage and meet you at the curb.

Autopilot
Autopilot combines a forward looking camera, radar, and 360 degree sonar sensors with real time traffic updates to automatically drive Model S on the open road and in dense stop and go traffic. Changing lanes becomes as simple as a tap of the turn signal. When you arrive at your destination, Model S will both detect a parking spot and automatically park itself. Standard equipment safety features are constantly monitoring stop signs, traffic signals and pedestrians, as well as for unintentional lane changes.

Autopilot features are progressively enabled over time with software updates. The current software version is 6.2, adding automatic emergency braking and blind spot warning.

Any forget that 'Insane' mode, there's now a 'Ludicrous' mode.

You also need to make sure the exterior of the car is absolutely spotlessly clean mate when using a sealant, as if it isn't you end up sealing any dirt / residue in.
