One day. (LOL, NOT)

Isn't that the one that Chris Evans bought for some crazy amount like $10m or something?

Yeah, stunning isn't it.

I love these too, there's something special about classic cars like these. I'd love to own something like one of these:

E-Type (saw one in Heswall recently, was gorgeous)

Mercedes 300SL. Absolutely beautiful.

That Merc is lovely, as for the Jag didn't they do some remake that Clarkson drove on top gear a while back, called the Eagle I think, that looked amazing.

My mums other half is currently doing up a 1964 Consul Capri, nothing near as nice as the Mercs and stuff but it's starting to look great and sourcing all the old parts means you come across some interesting characters.

Not heard of that myself, not that I'm an expert or anything. Ha, I bet you do. There's a bloke who lives near my parents who collects classic cars, he's got an ancient Bentley that is similar in style to the Ford Model T. Really, really old. It's immaculate though.

Have you seen that Shelby are releasing a 50th anniversary version of the Cobra?

PHWOAR!

That's the re-make they did of it, pretty sure the price tag was something insane though

I was watching Pawn Stars a few weeks back and some bloke had a Cobra Chassis, literally just the bare chassis, they took it to some expert who verified it was genuine and the chassis alone went for about $50,000. They did it up and it looked amazing, great looking and sounding car.

I've not seen that but after doing a bit of Googling I think it's the 250 GTO, which is similar to the one I posted above, the 250 GTO California.

This it?

I think so old chum, they are proper beasts

why do they have to plaster the big badge all over the wing though ??? even on modern ones, looks too garish that

I don't see how anyone could be a Toyota fanboy. My god their cars are soulless.

Hmmm, have you ever tried the MR2 mk1, fab car especially at 120 on the Ms or a Supra turbo, great for over 150 on the German roads on a touring holiday.

Currently I have a Land Rover Freelander 2 and a Mazda MX5.

The Tesla BlueStar project interests me greatly. Supposed to be a A4/3-Series level all-electric car, priced to be around $35k USD and a target range of 200 miles. 2016 is the target date

Obviously it's completely theoretical at this point, but having one of those in addition to like a winter/long distance petrol vehicle sounds appealing.
