Carra the clown to get the push?

He's a celebrity. He doesn't have to wear one...AND he can spit in the face of kids...and receive sympathy and counselling for it.

What a society we live in.
I loved the Oliver Holt tweet from yesterday where he proclaims 'hes not that type of person'. To be met with people linking to his coin throwing, road rage charge, threatening radio presenters, making threats in his book...only to say ''well I can only speak as I find'

Koff Holt.

Rooney got away with drink driving tbf

Bit of media bluster but it was soon forgotten

If you're a name then the system will accommodate you

It'd be the same if Shearer or Scholes had done something similar I think
If by 'got away with' you mean 'given a two year ban' then yes he dodged one there.

Those people who cover football so closely go native in the end. They cant see any other position other than the pampered scumbags' they write about.

He's still crying about the Lucas Neill challenge when his challenge on Nani (and many others tbh) was just as bad. The dude is one bad, bad bellend.

It's an awful disgusting thing to do but it's mad how he has to drag himself through these interviews and dragged through the dirt in front of the whole relative world to try keep his job. Has to be super embarrassing.

I think the harsh reality is that he knows he can't really do any better than the job he has, and he has a family, so he's going to cling to it all the way to the bitter end. People who didn't need the job would have just resigned and laid low for a bit. The fact he hasn't shows that he clearly thinks he needs this job and he's prepared to crawl through a river of crap to keep it any way he can

Well he didn't get sacked did he? Nor is it brought up every week either

He's a wealthy bloke who can afford a chauffeur. Getting a two year ban was getting off easy
Well no he wasn't sacked but it's if his conduct is in breach of his contract with Everton. If not, then he'll likely sue for breach of contract.

As for the criminal proceedings, it's not in Evertons gift to influence that. If the charge is light then it's more about judicial inconsistencies.

Personally I don't think he could've had too many complaints if he had been sacked.

Yeah, but he wasn't sacked was he?

Because he's a big time celebrity

They live by different rules than we do

How anyone is shocked that Carra is still in a job is beyond me. A regular plebian gobs on a kid and it's curtains. Celebrity footballing pundit does it and he's given a paid vacation for a few months whilst it all blows over

It's an absolute pisser, but that's the world we live in

Thing is though Mikey I didnt see anybody condoning it,blaming the woman he was with or threatening behaviour toward anybody involved, the fact that as a fan base nothing is said,no action taken just gives them more fuel to their fire of rightious justice
