Which is my point really - that position along with RB, CB & GK are all positions we can still improve upon.

We haven’t got bottomless pockets, we aren’t gonna spend another 40m pointlessly to replace Gomes (who’s been decent anyway).

Dribbling + Tackling + pace are the attributes which Seedorf had in addition to being a great passer though.

Gomes' passing
Iwobis link play

Then add in tackling and pace...

Id say they were very different players myself.

Seedorf wasn’t quick mate, speed of thought yes but flat footed and one paced. Great player though
