Will be interesting if he does join, as it is so far out of his usual wheelhouse. On the other hand he is on the slide a bit, with Napoli not being on the same level as his previous recent jobs (PSG, Munich, Real Madrid. Even Chelsea).

I've read a bit of nonsense on-line from a few beauts in the last week claiming he's not good enough for Everton but this would represent a massive coup for this club should it happen.

It's not that he isn't good enough. He's just not what we need right now. Do you know when the last time he managed a team that wasn't one of the 3 most talented in it's league? It was 1998. We need a builder, someone who will lay the ground work of success and not the guy who can take that platform and maximize it because we don't have the platform.
