Get him back.

McManaman
Jagielka
Baines

...the wonderful work being done at the Everton Academy.

Good player but Wigan would want top money for him now and we haven't got it and he probably isn't worth it. Good luck to the lad but I can't see us signing him.

I remember a poster on bluekipper saying his young nephew, or cousin (this lad) had been released and gone to wigan. the family were really confused by it. The efc youth coaches had said they thought he was the most gifted player they'd had since rooney but were letting him go.
It all sounded a bit odd, he said some of the coaches at the youth teams had a twisted agenda IIRC.

Well, by letting go the three players I mentioned the cost to Everton for bringing them back in again would be about £15M.

Great agenda that.

I like him but it makes sense that his price will probably be inflated. Not an ideal time to buy him.

Also, being released is a great motivator. He may have never developed like he has without that motivation.

Imagine if we made McManaman our number one target and then played him up front with Mirallas the whole season. I want Martinez for this reason alone right now.

McManaman is twenty two years old and so far this season he has started seven league games(an additional twelve as sub).
He has done well in the second half of the season, but as yet is a bit-part player in a team bond for relegation.
