Well i think we wouldnt be out of the race, if we break into europe and with the extra cash flow from the tv rights.

Also just to be a tease and i know this is terrible of me but i cant help it ... check him out -

Quality player but age is an issue, not to mention that he's on 80k+ a week (although he isn't even getting paid most of it with all the Malaga financial issues). Isco would be a preferred buy for me.

If Malaga are skint i'd like to see us nab Joaquin from them and that Isco lad who ripped us a new one the other week.

And Munain from Bilbao.

And Falcao and Messi.

And David Villa

And Ozil...but only if he gets those weird eyes fixed.

Not Sergio Ramos though. The big girl.

I've got carried away haven't I?

You monster! I love Özil. One of the best.

The tax rate in Spain is very, very favourable compared to here for footballers. You'd be talking stupid money on top of the transfer fee in order to match the take home earnings

1:05 - great technique, great pass, the striker skies it SO bad. Loved it.

There are players in the smaller clubs rather than just Joaquin you know.

Antoine Griezmann or Inigo Martinez from Sociedad.

Anyone know where Andres Guadrado went?
Very much this!

And Guardado's with Valencia now.

I think Wigan have a made a very decent signing in Arouna Kone from Levante too. Not sure of the fee though.

I just have that uncanny feeling that DavidMoyes will trott on here before game time and give us a Spanish name that nobody has been talking about. I can dream can't I.

Mirallas was a coup. Nobody I mean nobody came up with that one.

Transfer news - Tottenham and Manchester United are interested in Malaga’s young Spanish star Isco, who may become available this summer, as crisis-stricken Malaga look to offload more key players ... super DM to highjack

I think the Spanish league is no longer in the top 2 leagues in the world. The quality of the teams has got worse this season, attendances looked very poor. Particularly Sevilla as they used to always have near sell outs and looked practically empty on Saturday.
I think after the Premier League the German or Italian leagues are probably the second strongest now, with the French and Russian leagues looking increasingly competitive.
