Annoying thing is with every good European game that passes the pain of probably not being in Europe next year gets worse. With the FA cup draw as it is only an Liverpool v United/Arsenal final would ensure 7th is open in the league. Probably not going to happen and there's no way we're getting back to the top 6 so unless we win the thing its bye bye Europe next season which just leaves the domestic cups that Everton seem to be woeful at. If we fluked this though suddenly this would be the greatest season since 87, mad.

I see some see this win as a turning point .Good game certainly, although I think that the Young Boys have a defense at the level of the League 1 and that they played tactically naive, especially after leading 1 0. Let's wait for Leicester and see if we can repeat this with them.Pleased with Lukaku last night and Barkley has some room to get hes curage back.

Shouldnt be too hard for Young Boys to track down those that pelted Stones with Missiles.

I'll be honest, i still haven't celebrated or smiled about last nights win. Yes it was 4-1 against a strong unbeaten european side, yes Lukaku got a hat trick, yes Barkley looked brilliant and finally had the passion back, yes there's a good chance we're through to the next round meaning closer to the cup and another European adventure for our fans...

BUT BARKLEY PUSHED A PLAYER...IN THE BACK!!!

he should've been sent off and i know he's one of ours, but he should be banned for at least a year. So what if he got kicked in the head, thats football, but pushing someone is possibly the most dangerous thing you can do.

What if kids start copying this behaviour and do it near a road or a train!?

Disgusted and appalled,
K.Ratcliffe.

I think we have turned the corner since the New Year, without much luck. We just need a big win like this in the League soon. Hopefully against the duds on Sunday.

Big call that. If he goes on a goal spree from now until the end of the season we may have a fight on our hands

....presume we are talking about the same player who was a useless lazy lump a couple of weeks ago. Amazing the difference a game makes. He's what we've needed for an age and he's ours.

I think the difference is teams in the prem park the bus against us all season while europa teams try play thier own game. I have a feeling some team in the latter stages of these rounds will figure this out and.we.will be done for.
I think any team left will fancy their chances going toe to toe with us so hopefully it will never be a problem that we will need to face. Plus their defenders aren't as good. Chelsea can park the bus and be effective. Could Barca?
