i'm, back. still depressed.

what can i say? that was a lesson.
i am very dissapointed by my team, they had the [Poor language removed] in they're pants right from the start.
you were the better team by far and deserved the win even though the score was to high (offside before 1:2 and 1:3).
my boys acted like schoolboys. no pressing, no will and a very bad defending.

i hope that defeat came at the right time with basel coming up next sunday.

hope you had a good trip to my city and that you will have an opponent in better shape next week.

congratulation

How do you feel about our club now mate..?
You travelling to Goodison?
You'd love it

such a great win, i hope this breeds some confidence. we deserved the win...even tho two goals were off.

......offside, what offside? The first one involved a square pass, can't be offside from a pass that doesn't go forward. The 2nd came off a defenders deflection, that plays him on.

That's what the Reds would say if it was them.

As I posted in another thread, a national football website here claimed that Rom's hat trick showed he was ready to move on to a big team. SHEEEET!

We did have a bit of luck with the goals but overall we created enough chances that I thought the result was fair. As you say the lack of a compact defense, and especially noticeably the lack of pressing, was the difference between you in this match and what we face in the league. Your attack was fine and the big striker that scored the goal is class.

Welcome on the board by the way, I'm impressed by what I've read of your posts before and that you came on here after yesterday. Good luck against Basel by the way.

Thanks for all the advice you gave every travelling Blue mate. That was a terrific game. The lad Hoarau looks a real handful. Hope he can't jump like that on grass! Are you coming over to Everton for the return leg? A great many of us owe you a pint at least. You'll be well looked after over here anyway.
