Also, I only popped in here to say that Bob Bradley needs to shut his gob and get on with his life. He's worse than Paul Ince for moaning about being discriminated against when the fact of the matter is that he was crap.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39555359

Here he is having a go at the Swansea owners who called hiring him a mistake. What does he expect them to do? He was crap.

He's a decent manager and the owners saying its a mistake smacks of looking for excuses. However hiring him was a huge mistake.

They day he got hired I said:
-this isn't going to work out, they fire managers at ludicrious speed over at Swansea
-if your defense is in shambles the one manager you shouldn't hire is Bob Bradley

Its funny there has always been this notion with Bradley even among Americans that because of his personality and that he's tall and bald that he's American Tony Pulis. However his teams have always been a bit freewheeling and chaotic. Bradley's squads have always scored plenty of goals and he was never afraid to send a bunch of players forward. They just did it in a more direct style.

Bradley even got fired from the USMNT because we supposedly wanted to play fun, attacking football. When under him we

I mean at his age he had to take the job because it was going to be his only chance. However he could have been much better off at a high scoring championship squad like Norwich or Fulham.

I've never known Cowherd to be much of a football guy, is he on to something here?

The facts are corrrct but the spin is wrong. Bradley won't get better through accountability, he's just not good enough. Cowherd doesn't spend as much time talking about the hundreds and thousands of NA pro athletes who aren't good enough (maybe Jay Cutler being the exception, a healthier American Jack Wilshere), because they simply should not get the airtime. Get better players in the USMNT and this goes away.

There's more to this, but that's my quick take.

Bradley was good when he played in Europe. He just chased MLS $$$$$$$$$. I can't say I blame him for forgoing 1M in Italy for 5M in MLS though. Bradley would also be one of the better USMNT players if he was paired with a CM who could pass. Also thinking about it (throws up in mouth) he's regressed seriously and is still one of the best USMNT players.

The talent on the USMNT is lower than its been in a long time. The fact that coaches even have to consider Undead Demarcus Beasley and Jermaine "Rigamortis" Jones is a serious indictment to the young talent we have.

Klinsi set the squad back both in the roles he gave players and his ignoring local talent for those playing in Europe.

I'm going to sorta kinda defend Klinsy there by saying that the local talent and european talent are equally pants. We don't even have a GK coming up, Howard is going to start until he's 47. How the bleep can this country not even produce a keeper?

That kid from D.C., have we seen him given a chance?

Another interesting take on it

Football doesn't produce talent the level of the NBA and the NFL is because it's a middle class sport in the states and they don't have to face the adversity that athletes in other sports do, so they lack the equivalent hunger to succeed

Thoughts on that?

After yesterday's nutmeg hat trick Guzan should be nowhere near this team. As crap as Howard is he is probably still the best option in net which is a bit sad
