If Guzan was Villa quality (which he was), Nagbe is well above that.

I just never saw anything that would make me think he's a good prem player. Dribbles too much and drifts in and out of matches. Supposedly he likes it in MLS and not really motivated by a big paycheck so I also don't think he's going anywhere. The fact that we been starved for a playmaking mid and he can't get on the pitch for the USMNT says a lot I think.

Guzan was OK for a while. He was good a Houston, then Villa picked him as stashed him as a backup for 3 years and had a couple good seasons there.

Agree to disagree. Think he's talented and skilled enough to handle it. As far as "Can't get on the pitch" I'm not sure what you're talking about. He just started 2 qualifiers in a row. Would've played more under Klinsy if they didn't have the falling out they did. This is the same Klinsy that wouldn't start Pulisic ahead of Graham Zusi.

Guzan also never played for Houston.

I want Nagbe to be good he can be a fun player to watch. Just dunno if he's any good and would be happy to be wrong. Granted he probably doesn't have that many miles on him but he's also 27. Can't see a prem team wanting to buy him.

That's fair. Think age would have more to do with it than actually having the ability to do it. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I found it bizarre he was out there, he got shredded and looked lost most of the game. Arena's fault on that one.

Our top, like six choices at right back are all injured. Zusi was an absolute last-ditch option. Like playing Aaron Lennon at right back for Everton.

Wtf is this title. More unnecessary title gore from the yanks

Clearly Bryan is not a fan of Breakin' 2.

...

Joint bid, seems would be us hosting 60, and our neighbors 10 each. Interesting. And a sneaky way for those beady-eyed, floppy headed Canadians to get into the Cup.

With no-one else declaring they're likely to play a hand, and FIFA ruling out Europe and Asia, I think it's nailed on that this 3-way bid will win the vote.

Maybe only Australia and New Zealand could run it close. Somewhere like Colombia or Morocco MIGHT have been in with a chance of a 32-team tournament, but they're unable to host a 60-game, 48-team tournament.
