Hard to imagine, reading these pages, in what circumstances people are actually 'free to protest'.
The BLM people managed it reasonably well.

No real mayhem and most people supported them, whilst of course no real progress was made, cos racists gonna race, I still feel as tho people supported the ideals.

Protesters the Home Secretary described as 'dreadful' which has Iead directly to the justification of the proposed law these people are now protesting about - because they caused 'inconvenience'.

Not true, they have the powers under Covid reg's as a consequence, no?

Agree to disagree i suppose.

I'm completely disillusioned with people's priorities during a pandemic and although i may agree with their argument in some cases i absolutely do not agree with their methods while we are supposed to be engaged in social distancing.

I'm sure that the resentment that i feel for protesters will be echoed in other people and I'm sure this would have been a consideration of the Government when they discussed tabling the bill.

I consider every attendee of every protest during lockdown to have been a catalyst to enable this bill.

Yes, it was the same rent a mob that turns up for every protest.

No matter the cause, they are called anarchists.

People like you, who hate the Police due to the many, many, many abuses of power they have made over the years.

Thats fine, I mean the list is very long.

But that doesn't mean they are ALWAYS wrong.

But I didn’t turn up and I’m not an anarchist.

Who said they are always wrong? None of this is an argument that supports their actions

Like I said, protests are covered in the temp legislation, do them with that, because Covid isn't the reason for the bill.

It might not be the reason but i think it is the noted as the opportunity to get it passed, secured by the repeated mass gatherings without concordance to Covid guidelines.
