Brighton sack hughton?

Tonnes of money spent. 2 win since the new year. Barely staved off relegation.

It's absolutely the correct decision. They may go down but at least they're showing they won't accept just being in the Prem.

I'm sure some will knock Brighton for it but to me it just proved they have a bit of ambition. Apparently they're supposed to just be happy to stay up and ignore their awful form and horrendous results like losing 5-0 at home to Bournemouth.

Let's have it right, they stayed up in spite of themselves. They might not get lucky next year and have three even worse teams below them again. Sure this decision could backfire on them but I'm not going to knock a club for actually having ambitions to be more then what they currently are. If a club like Watford can reach an FA Cup final, get a safe mid-table finish and play some decent togger in the process then why can't Brighton?
More like he threw away a 1 goal lead against City and ruined the RS lovefest. The Brighton chairman is probably a Kopite.

they signed someone for 17 million who hasnt scored or assisted all season

he did similar at norwich tbh, does well with what he has coming up with then fails to build on it the next season

File under too good for the championship, not good enough for prem with Holloway, Warnock and a fair few players

Has anyone mentioned that it's only because he's a man of colour yet? Garth Crooks should be along any minute.
Well in half an hour, he has to finish this sentence he just started.

I don't actually mind Chris Hughton. I think he is a decent solid manager. If I wanted someone who could take a championship team into the premier league and establish them there, then I'd have him over Warnock. It's a specialised job - but I can see that those skills don't translate to great finishing positions in the premier league, so eventually you have to get a replacement to try and take the next step.
