Brighton sack hughton?

I see people are trying to link his sacking to some form of racism. Could it be that he just wasn’t good enough as opposed to the colour of his skin? It’s 2019, you want the best person for job, for any job, regardless of their background, ethnicity.

If there was any sort of racist element to him being sacked (which there isn’t) I doubt he would have been given the job in the first place.

I don’t understand why this type of talk comes out every time manager is sacked.

Weird how this was just reported on South news.
They got the black manager mentioned, and didn't mention how gash they have been really.

Nice that it finished with "all 3 of our local clubs finished in the bottom half", but then praised Howe for his season of transition ??

They went 721 minutes without scoring a league goal and played their way into a relegation scrap, how can anyone think this is a rash decision? Brighton isn’t a tiny club playing in a tinpot ground like Burnley or Bournemouth... they really should do better than that.

I'm made up the [Poor language removed], that's for setting his team up the way he did yesterday, hope they get relegated now with Burnley

Havnt seen any racist stuff. Not even a little bit.

Seen plenty about him winning 3 games in 23, being 2 points from going down, (which they would have done if Cardiff hadnt been robbed against Chelsea), and serving up utter tripe for weeks.

Decent bloke, was unlucky at Newcastle, but Brighton owners were obviously terrified.

Bit daft.

They'll end up getting some young Portuguese or German coach no one has heard of....or Mark Hughes.

Either way...back to the championship they go.

John Barnes was being asked about it on ksh and it came up.

Did they spend more than Fulham? I like Hughton, he is one of the very few people in the game that doesn't sound like a plumb during interviews. Always seems to give due respect and not throw people under a bus.

For that reason I hope Brighton do a Newcastle for a bit so they can realign themselves to what they actually are.

Well that doesnt surprise me at all. Did he mention Sol Campbell not being sacked cos hes done pretty well with the Macc Lads? Nor the Wolves boss?
