The fourth utterly woeful performance in a row, could easily have lost that about 5-1 there. Seems not only do we have an attack, but our defence is all over the place as well. Shocking.

The defensive unit seems somehow to have regressed since the opener against Chelsea, where I thought it looked pretty sound.

I don’t agree with those saying the defence isn’t better, I think it is and is improving. We’re still a couple of players short.

With hindsight I think Gordon needs to stay. We need him.

I’m hoping our back 5 is a mixture of inexperience and them still getting used to playing with one another because today was bad. They looked absolutely lost.
