I'll be totally honest - I would've been happy with a draw before KO. We lost in this fixture last season. Bit of perspective needed.

You can't blame the substitutions for Iwobi and Patterson turning into spectators while a free man scores. Was criminal defending by the pair of them.

But I'm not. I saying the match changed. They got in top immediately when keane and davis came on.

Decent result. Especially when you take into account that Brentford should have easily won that, nothing went their way for 80’ of the game.

Not a horrible result in itself, but crushes the spirit a bit when you know what a win, however flukey, would have done for our spirits.

Lampard really needs to start showing some of this tactical flexibility he’s talked so much about.
