Boxing

casuals are naive because the way sky hype these ppv events up they always make the fighters appear better than they are .

Naive they may be but if they stop buying because they aren't enjoying then the ppvs for Joshua will stop for these type of fights.

I think that they won't though, paying for something you enjoy is hardly stupid. Id label myself as far more stupid for renewing my season ticket each year.

Why is casuals used in a derogatory fashion and why are they stupid?

They just like to see a British heavyweight knocking people out. The market dictates whether it should be ppv or not and id hazard a guess that everyone of Joshua's fights will be from now on regardless of opponent.

What's more stupid, people paying for something because they simply want to watch it or a "non casual" cutting his nose off to spite his face?

Has an air of the beginnings of the "Hipster" movement....."Uh...I liked that a long time before you did, and I don't like it now because you like it"

Anyone watch the Golovkin, Gonzalez card the weekend, or even better point us in the direction of a repeat, the box nation shows used be repeated on BT in the week but can't see that card on at all.

Had tried to avoid results, until someone ruined it by telling me earlier.

Nah not at all. I'm What you'd call a UFC casual because I only got interested on the back of the mcgregor and rousey hype. Loads of people will come out the woodwork this week for the snooker . Same with Wimbledon and England at the euros in the summer .

Though I'd say there are 3 levels , hard core , casual and something in the middle . I'm not a hardcore boxing fan simply I don't know anywhere near enough enough about the lower level side of the pro game and will only follows the amateurs at the likes of the olympics .

God I need a job soon. Writing all that at 7am in the morning . What a weirdo.

Got it recorded to watch today on box nation myself . I'll keep an eye out for a link .
