Bolton Vs Everton

Whatss pleasing is that they are completely different to each other too, with Anichebes strength and holding, Vaughans pace and work rate, Yakubus composure and positioning, Cahills heading, and Saha, well hes just a mix of all of them really...

Its really good to see...Its just a shame that now without injury i doubt Anichebe and Vaughan will get many chances, otehr than 5 minutes before the end.

We always have injuries, I'm sure alot of players will get a go. Especially when you've got Saha, Cahill and Vaughan who are all prone to injury.

It is good to see, I think where covered in forward positions. Midfield is the only area we are weak in.

When you look at our team and how we played last season we have no excuses really and the second half against the mancs was a shinning example of the way to go , the Dogs of war-take-no-[Poor language removed]-from-anyone way but that doesnt mean we shouldnt attempt to play football . But for the time being until we start to climb we should [Poor language removed] get stuck in and Bolton will provide a good test of our fight .

Come on Everton

Looking at a Bolton forum, they are not too confident, they seem to think they play even worse hoof ball than us, and the only way they can win is if we play below-average. So most think that a draw or win for us is in order. Some even predicting 0-2 and 0-3!

Thats just some though...others think we play terrible football, and will most likely sit back and defend - as we are looking for a draw .

I don't think DM will left Timmy on the bench, probably there will go Saha (still not convincing, i think) so:

Howard

Neville - Yobo - Jagielka - Baines

Arteta - Osman - Fellaini - Pienaar

Cahill

Yakubu

1-2: Yak & Tim to score

We should be rolling into the game like we've just won the FA Cup feeling we can beat anybody. We knock it about and keep concentration at the back with the hoof balls, we'll win comfortablely.

But I can see them being agressive. They need a win and will probably feel they can at least get a point from us at home.

Saying that, our probable bench looks dangerous -- Vaughan, Anichebe, Baines, Cahill, Castillo -- and can change a game.

if yak is out then put vaughn in let him run his ass off... drop osman hes due a rest and iam sure hes playing with a injury

Id like to play vaughan against these, a full game should hopefully tire him out abit! His pace could easily tear up their defence. Same with Anichebe too....

I think Saha will get dropped and Cahill will play. That's what the Dailypost are saying anyway.

I don't really mind to be honest, both are good players and both can get goals given games.

One thing I would say about Saha is his pace and movement was very handy in the second half, it definatly pushed us further up the pitch as a team. He gave us an outlet so to speak.

With Cahill behind Yak it's a bit different, neither are going to run behind and cause problems. Saying that though we all know what Cahill brings to the plate, he's a very hard player to pick up because of his position and the positions he takes up.
