Jesus Christ this is shocking, did the Liverpool council charge for the permit at Goodson for residents? Cos these poor people will need to pay to park outside their own homes.

Maybe knock on someone’s door and ask to pay to use their permit?

I don't get why the parking no go zone is so big.
The dock road itself will be closed so you could have parking down one side and still have room for cars to get out going towards Bootle.
You could do the same on Gt Howard street both ways, they are both two lanes wide each side.
Keep a traffic policeman on that big roundabout by Seaforth and the lights mostly on green for traffic going to the motorway, it would be empty in half an hour going that way.
Do the same for Everton Valley direction, the police can keep the lights on green a bit longer.
If your a bad wool and live towards Aigburth/Speke then you deserve to be delayed.
This is only going to be once every two weeks give or take, it's not like it's every day.
It seems whoever in the council drew up that massive zone is defo a kopite.

Fear not... There'll be plenty of parking within a decent walk to the ground, for a few quid.

There's hundreds of firms down there with car parks that will be a great earner with very little overheads

I can imagine a few enterprising individuals will probably try this business idea even without the to ahead from the company that owns the land
I’m sure you are right, anyone with a scrap of land will be trying to make money out of it, in match days and for concerts etc, I think people just want it all planned out, so they know what they are doing when the first real game rolls round.

My daughter went to Coventry stadium to see one of her favourites, it can hold up to 40k it took her and her mum 1.5hrs to get out of the car park after the concert, not sure if anyone’s been to any of the other stadium for a gig but I wonder if you park close it’s going to be the same

There is a big train-less void where I grew up in Norris Green. That affects loads of areas, Croxteth, West Derby, Wavetree, Old Swan, Childwall...

I'd like to see some better shuttle bus services on offer. As basically telling everyone who doesn't live on a trainline to either go out of your way to get on one (which will push the capacity limits) or go the the city centre first aren't particularly great options imo.

You'd imagine a ferry service for the squirrels is a no brainer.
