Blues blamed for City bus damage

In the spirit of trying to make this thread a little less sinister, one thing that has always bugged me about our lot is the capacity to run on to the pitch in a sort of uncontrolled turrets like reaction whenever there is a major defining goal or incident on the pitch. (which hasn't been often in our recent history). While other fans are content to stay behind the barriers our fans just cant help themselves.

I have seen it many times over the years. Recently it happened away at Bournemouth when Barkley scored, not exactly an Aguero injury time goal to win the Premiership. It happened when Hibbert scored against AEK, not exactly the champions league final. It will probably happen if we beat the other lot tomorrow. Why? Where does it come from?

It has been happening since I can remember, and I went to my first match in 1969 with my Dad. Andy king goal against them, Latchford's thirtieth, Highbury semi against Southampton, I could go on and on.

Where does this mentality come from? Who is to blame? Eddie Cavanagh? No Idea, but the club must not let it continue on to the new stadium.

Are you crazy lad?

Pitch invasions are one of the best things in football man. I hope to heaven if we score a late winner tomorrow we invade and celebrate right in Wijnaldums grid.

Some people are boring as ought,

No singing/chanting
No pitch invasions
No blue pyro when we score
No banners

Just sit on your hands and boo and play on your phone all game.

That’s like 3 times (if you include a friendly) in ten odd years. Probably do it the least out of the usual passionate clubs.

No you couldn't, because you know you're talking tosh. A pitch invasion isn't actually "illegal" whereas carrying and throwing flares in a public place (not to mention throwing stones and bottles at a moving bus) is illegal and can be punishable by a prison sentence. There's nothing sinister about this thread, however the attempt by thousands of rs "fans" to intimidate (in the name of sportsmanship no doubt) a rival team is very sinister indeed. Most knowlegeable fans in the world? Don't make me laugh :red::red::red:

Sharpies goal and invasion at the pit will live in my memory forever. Sinister ff’s get a grip.

I didn't mention the disgusting behaviour of that mob over the park I was talking about the growing anger by some members on this thread getting really nasty and I was attempting to show that we are not "whiter than white" when it comes to fan behaviour. The couple of posts after only made my point.

As for your argument for the legality of pitch invasions. I must say, that is by far the dumbest statement I have ever read on this forum (and that's saying something). You do realise it's 2018 don't you?

As for nothing sinister about this thread, here are a couple of quotes from posters I pulled out at random.

"I hope they encounter some proper ultras who eviscerate them".

"I'll say this becuse it's true: they have a lot of fans attached to that club who are paramilitary. If the authorities don't wake up to this and act they WILL cause another outrage. Not IF but WILL".

So nothing sinister there then.

Yes well Everton fans never waited two hours before kick off, to throw things at the opposition teams coach, like a bunch of anti social yobs!

It was my quote about the evisceration, mate, so I'll just chime in again to say that if the RS fans decide that violence and intimidation is the way to win games then they could hardly be surprised if someone even bigger and uglier and tougher decides to up the ante.

Under what law is running onto a football pitch illegal? Trespassing on private property perhaps? I do know that throwing flares and other missiles at a bus on a public highway is definitely illegal. And if you think my statement is "by far the dumbest thing" you have ever read on this forum then you haven't read much of it lollollollol
