Tonight has been a complete an utter waste of time. Nothing has been learned and we've reverted to type. Very concerning imo.

Hopefully Silva will have learned something. This is the players true nature, if you take your foot off their throat for a second they default to lazy spineless biff mode. I bet a few had been told that they were part of the squad for the season and that was it for them, deck chair out, cruising until this poor bloke gets fired too.

On a plus piont at least Silva can see first hand the state of are squad.

Get the players in and get those no marks put to frig. Stop acting like a charity and handing appearances out to embarrassments like Pennington. If we want to become a big club we need to act like one. Allowing local lads to play to make the numbers up wouldn't happen anywhere else.


I hope this is a kick up the backside for everyone and that we get decisive action. That was humiliating but at least shows us where we truly are.

Brands has a lot of work to do. That side will struggle badly this year without major changes.

One positive is Richarlison looked decent. Not many more positives to take really. Defending was awful and likewise the finishing. Badly need Pickford back and defensive signings and we have got 2 weeks to get it all sorted out. Silva has to be getting a bit worried by now i think.

That defence makes my eyes bleed though, serious issues at the back and midfield. Up top i think we'll have enough about us but the midfield just gets bypassed and the defence is pathetic

For me, enough with the showcase/tryouts for the kids who need to be loaned and the dross that need be sold. Two weeks left until season. Get at least one new CB, Baines' replacement and push on.

You say that but we finished 8th last year. Not saying I want that but struggle badly seems an exaggeration

Looks like our season is dependant on Walcott, Pickford, Richarlison and maybe Coleman. Need another 7 decent players for the 1st team alone. Looks like Lookman is on his way out. Seriously, I cannot understand why we haven't been playing our so called 1st team players together more often unless Silva really doesn't know who the best players are yet.
