In your formation you have Cahill supporting Jo but in your description of our tactics you say Cahil and Jo will be leading the line ? Which is it ?

Players don't just stand still Wooly, they move around. Cahill can interchange between two positions, like he does every week.

I was refering to a structured formation as opposed to one which sees forward players assume roles in which they have relative freedom of movement ala Ronaldo at United . I was just confused by your clashing explanation .

Paul Merson reckons us and Blackburn are pretty evenly matched and that player for player we are almost as good as each other.

I think he's been hitting the bottle again!

This comment made me laugh as well :

Take away the league standings and you have two teams that are very evenly matched

Yeah. Take away the league standings and all team are equal you numnut.

I think what he is trying to focus in on is the physical aspect of the two teams being alike . But I would like to think we play better football . All these people currently saying we dont attempt to play football when going for three points must not be watching the same Everton I am . I have witnessed some great play by us this season . Most notably against Arsenal where at times we played them off the park .

im going for a 2-1 smash and grab win to us and i think moyes will pick the following lineup.

Just found this on NSNO.

What an idiot that fat [Poor language removed] is. It was only Saturday, that Cahill had a perfectly good goal ruled out.
The Geordies were right about him afterall. You don't know what you're doing...or saying for that matter.(n)

To be honest mate I think he has a point.

Cahill is a bad snide like that, but thats what makes him effective.

We'd probably hate him if he didnt play for us.

You just know it's going to happen at some point tomorrow.

"Free-kick in from Baines dangerous Cahill's there! But his celebrations are muted, as the referee gives a Blackburn freekick"

He's got a point but theres a huge slice or irony coming from him.

Those Bolton teams he sent out wellied the f-uck out of many a centre half.

Lucky he's a tanned, square jawed, headset wearing tit then.

Agree with you that Cahill can and mostly is a bad snide to opposing teams. Don't agree though, that he's getting an advantage out of it, regarding his goals. More often as not, he's getting penalised for it. Cahill times his runs to perfection and it's a simple fact, that even after 5 years at Everton, his opponents are still not able to deal with it.
