Agreed, Osman plays left centre midfield so he can get close to Pienaar and Baines. Our football will improve big time. I'd love to see Osman get a run alongside Neville in the middle.

we'll have to return to our 04/05 season form for the coming weeks I think, hard fought ground out 1-0 wins. I think this will be one of them.

Cahill/Lescott 1-0 would be my shout from a set piece.

Tough game upcoming with blackburn. Big Sams teams are always dirty, so i just hope we get no more injuries.
I reckon it will be a 0-0 draw personally.

Blackburn 1 (Santa Cruz) Everton 1 (Cahill)

Every team has a bogey team in the league and I think ours will be Blackburn having lost both our games against them this year.

They're fighting for survival and have won a number of home games under Big Sam. Our defence is tighter but they've got a talanted strike force in Santa Cruz, Roberts and McCarthy. This, with our midfield going off the performance against WBA, will prove a big ask for us in terms for closing down their space. WBA knocked the ball around with east and (with Yobo getting sucked too close to Jags) left gaps that they could exploit at the back.

If Hibbert if fit and Neville stays in midfield, things will be tighter. It all depends on who partners him.

I wouldnt start Fellaini who still looks injured (save for the FA Cup). Osman looked lively and seems to be fighting fit so I'd play him just behind Cahill and Neville behind him. But I wouldnt even mind Rodwell adding that calm stability (its funny saying that being the lad is only 18) along side Neville and Osman on the right, benching the impressive Gosling.

Pienaar on the left and (if not the above) Gosling on the right. If Saha is ready to go I think I'd start him over Jo and bring Jo (and Fellaini) on later in the game to give us options. But saying that I'd rather have a fresh Saha for the Boro FA Cup game so maybe Jo should start being he is cup tied.

What I like about our team this year is the ability to adapt and change tactics with the players we've got. I know Moyes said the performance wasnt the best on the weekend but he was finding things out after Arteta's loss so hopefully he's clocked onto something and has bodies at his disposal (Rodwell, Osman, Pienaar, Saha all back to fitness) to close the gap on Villa and Arsenal who dropped points on the weekend.

Maybe I'm being pessimistic but a hard fought away draw is likely. I think the team will look better by our next league game rather than the two games coming up this weekend as we find our footing again.

I'm starting to agree with a few guys that coming away with no injuries is the best result.

They are going to be booting lumps out of us. They have done us twice with degrees of comfort this season, I think a clean bill of health and a draw might not be too bad.

These last 2 games (Baggies and Barcodes) have been severly lacking in any creativity. Our defence is going to have to be totally solid again to get anything out of this.

I will take mugging them 1-0 with a scrappy goal from anybody dressed in a hi-vis! (and last kick of the game, we're due one of those!)

Its hilarious aint it.

I think the Blackburn, Boro, Villa, Chelsea games are all on TV - then if we get into the semi's it'll be on Tele.

Milk it Kenwright, milk it.
