Its all very well you taking the high moral ground here on debt etc, not withsatanding the fact you will probabaly be looking for Bills head in the summer if he doesnt drop 20 million. What i dont understand about about all this stadium lark is fair enough you dont agree with it (many people like looking at transport plans). Why demonise the man, why vilifi his charicter and every decison. Even if the stadium is the wrong decison, is it not possible that its one out of ten wrong, which i dont personaly think it is. Why is everyting and every decison he makes automaticly have to be an attack on possibly the biggest saving influence in the clubs history.

I am not taking the moral high ground on debt. I believe that debt is necessary, the winners are the ones who can loan the most.
The value of the clubs that you mention (Chelsea, Villa, Liverpool and Man united) outstrips their level of debt, none of the above are in dire straights, infact they are all in very healthy positions.
Bill is vilified because of the REASONS he is taking us to a substandard ground that is located closer to Lancashire than Lime Street. No other premiership ground is further away from a town/city centre than the Kirkby proposal.

Please bare in mind that loaning finance sensibly and spending it wisely is actually synonomous with the word investment.
If you borrow wisely (I doubt a chairman will be loaning his own business a loan with a high APR, it would make no sense whatsoever) and increase the value of your club then there is no problem.
