No there are not. However, it is often a ridiculous point that is made by people who love Kenwright.
"At least he isnt some foreigner who loads the club with millions of pounds worth of debt" Yet as you say, it is a necessity, the winner is essentially the one who has the capacity to loan/borrow the most.
Its the ridiculous suggestion that kenwright is any different from these demonised foreign prospectives.
Kenwright refused a business proposition that would have enabled the kings dock, he did this because he wanted to keep control. At best this was because his ego likes being a premiership chairman, at worst it is because he was only intersted in schemes that would make him millions of pounds.
What is for sure, is he did not turn down Greggs offer for the good of Everton Football Club. He has lied constantly to our fans, FSF ETC.
Yet some people hold him up as if he was the type of chairman that puts the needs of a football club before his own.
He dosnt, he is just like the rest of them. Except no other chairman is moving their club out of their home city.
Kirkby is 9 miles away from Liverpool City Centre, this is the longest distance a football club is from a town/city centre in the premiership.
How is it the same, Super Bill doesnt have any sponds, while Abromovich, Learner, the Yanks and the Glazers have personal fortunes probably running into billions, but place massive amounts of debt on to the clubs books.
Its all very well you taking the high moral ground here on debt etc, not withsatanding the fact you will probabaly be looking for Bills head in the summer if he doesnt drop 20 million. Which brings me to my point no matter what Bill does he will get stick, as a section of our support is so worn with hatred its lost the ability to rationalise about anything got to do with the man.
What i dont understand about about all this stadium lark is fair enough you dont agree with it (many people like looking at transport plans). Why demonise the man, why vilifi his charicter and every decison. Even if the stadium is the wrong decison, is it not possible that its one out of ten wrong, which i dont personaly think it is. Why is everyting and every decison he makes automaticly have to be an attack on possibly the biggest saving influence in the clubs history.
Im convinced anyone who hates Bill has lost the abiity to analyse, reflect and rationalise in a logical way in anything or any issue got to do with Billl, they cant because their so blinded with hate over the stadium move. People have lost the ability to think without emotion about him.
Thats why nobody ever takes the neg heads opinions, threads or reasoning seriously.
In the end all you can do is laugh.
