Yep, this is what you get when you need to hit a front man and get the ball to stick rather than being able to get a striker in behind.

He's genuinely terrible when you're looking for a striker to hold the ball and get the team up the pitch.

I don't want to be too critical because he's had a really good month or so, but tonight was genuinely awful.

Nah, we played down the sides. Did you watch the game? We put in significantly less forward passes the wolves and matched their crossing. We don’t have capability down the wings, nor the players to finish. They outplayed us in practically every single part of the pitch, mostly based on pushing us into making unnecessary errors. That was a Dyche performance not a Moyes one, we win that with Charly starting or Ndiaye.

He did what was required in Jan/Feb, that was the main thing.

Last few weeks have shown he isn't what is needed as first choice next season but I'm fine with keeping him as back up and then selling him with a year left on his deal next summer.

Hopefully beat West Ham and then I think quietly Moyes would think 36 points is a done deal for survival and I'd like to see Chermiti get starts in April and May to gauge his level.

Makes more sense to me than just playing Broja and DCL when neither are going to be here next season.

Had at least two big chances and converted neither. The one on one was woeful, exactly where the keeper would want and hope a striker to shoot.
He was awful. Tries to shoot exactly the same way each time, very predictable. Get rid this summer, hopefully his recent goals may have generated some interest......

Easily his worst game but people are going overboard. It's not the end of the world and Moyes will not jump the gun. In fairness the whole team looked very sluggish and we did not really give him anything to feed off of for the majority of the match. It might have been our worst game under Moyes. A week off will do that to you sometimes. Onto the next.
